What can caused my package to be Detained?

Reasons for packages to be detained:

1. No invoice provied before package status change at Local Port.

2. Incomplete invoice

3. Invoice that are seems tampered with.

What if I don't submit my invoice?

Failure to submit invoice on time before package status change to at Local Port, will lead to package being detained at Jamaica Customs. Once Package is detained there will be a re-clearance fee of $650JMD / package.

My package was delivered but its not reflecting in my ShipMart Logistics dashboard?

When a package has been delivered at the warehouse it takes up to 24 to 48 hours to be updated on the system. Once the 48 hours as passed and you haven’t received and update, please contact us asap.

Why do I have to pre-alert invoices for my packages?

Packages entering the country must declare to Jamaica customs. If invoices are not provided, this will result in delay of your package.

How do I avoid paying customs duty on my packages?
